Clean Eating Groceries

These are groceries that I buy, given that I have a milk allergy. You might want to add things like skim milk, low fat cheeses, and low/fat free yogurt. I loved all these before I found out about the allergies. Most items I get from Aldi, if they don’t have it I go to Walmart or Target.

Proteins/Meats

  • lean ground turkey
  • boneless skinless chicken breast
  • sirloin steak
  • pork tenderloin
  • whole chicken
  • beans (red, black,chickpeas, lentils, ect.)
  • organic almond butter.
  • assorted seafood options (tilapia, salmon, tuna steaks, scallops, and/or shrimp)
  • organic tofu
  • bacon( guilty pleasure, not clean VERY dirty)
  • quinoa
  • almond and coconut milk
  • peanut and almond butter
  • nuts( pistachios, almonds, cashews

Fruits & Veggies(depend on sales and season)

  • organic lettuces (spinach, kale, spring mix, romaine, NO ICEBERG EVER)
  • cucumbers
  • squash (yellow, zucchini, spaghetti, and/or butternut)
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • green beans (low sodium canned)
  • organic corn (low sodium canned or frozen)
  • mushrooms
  • tomatoes (fresh, paste, sauce, diced)
  • organic carrots
  • cabbage or Brussels sprouts (I use them interchangeably)
  • asparagus
  • avocado (best food ever!)
  • frozen fruits (strawberries, mixed berries, tropical fruit)
  • watermelon

  • dried cranberries, bananas, and/or apricots
